Founder Story
My story. In 2001, at just 26 years old, my life changed forever. Without warning, my aorta expanded to 13 centimeters. My lung collapsed. And doctors told my family I had only a 10% chance of surviving.
On a Sunday, some of the best heart surgeons in the country operated on me. By every medical standard, my future was uncertain. But God had other plans.
Surviving that surgery was not the end. It was only the beginning. Not long after, I nearly lost my life again to a massive blood clot in my lung. Then came a stroke, renal failure, and years later, kidney cancer. Each diagnosis brought new uncertainty. Each season forced me to ask deeper questions. And each time, God proved faithful.
He never promised the road would be easy, but He reminded me that He was walking every step with me. Looking back, I do not just see a series of medical events. I see the faithfulness of God. I believe He preserved my life for a purpose bigger than myself, and that purpose is to make disciples and point people to Jesus.
Holy Ghost Gear exists because of that calling. God did not spare my life so I could build a clothing brand. He spared my life so I could point people to Jesus. Holy Ghost Gear is one way I get to do that.
